We drove up to Flag on Thursday night to enjoy some cool fall weather
We LOVE our state
for many reasons
one being that it has taught us to appreciate cooler weather and along with that, there are many places north of us that provide cooler weather
Friday we started in Flag and did a little lava trail hike at Sunset Crater (did you know there is a volcano in Flagstaff? yeah, me neither), picked up a pumpkin and grabbed lunch
and then instead of driving straight home, we stopped in Jerome.
It is a cool little vertical like town
that is supposedly haunted
and also great place to buy way too expensive jelly bellies.
“oops” said sugar craving wife
and then got home by dinner time and finished up our fall break project
