Garry & Krista

Shortly after I started my photography business back up nine months agoI decided my heart was for weddings but I didn’t know how that would look! They are equally as much fun as they are hard work. I have been so thankful to second shoot and learn from some great photographers I admire as well as reacquaint myself with how to run the wedding day as a photographer. You guys, my little photographer heart was so happy to have Garry and Krista be my very own first wedding since being back. It was essentially a dream wedding to be a part of!

Listen to this. Garry and Krista planned a wedding and built a house at the same time as having jobs and children. Let me say that one more time. Planned a wedding AND built a house. Garry has literally been building a house with his hands. He was working on the plumbing the day of the wedding, right before getting ready to meet his bride down the aisle! Who does that?! On top of that, the wedding was just about entirely DIY. Krista thought every detail through and it was worth it. Everything came together beautifully. They chose to get married at Venue at the Grove since they are living near by and it was beautiful! The oranges were perfectly ripe and perfectly photo ready 😉

Garry is from Wales and quite a bit of family come into town. It was heartwarming to see these families come together literally from across the world to celebrate Garry and Krista. Once the ceremony was over, it was one big celebration. There was a fire pit to chat and stay warm, sparkler first dance, and my personal favorite, a crepe bar. If there is a bride and groom that were able to enjoy their own wedding, it was Gary and Krista. They danced the night away with friends and family but also managed to sneak in some quiet moments together. It was beautiful to watch.

Garry and Krista, I was honored to be there and capture the beginning of your journey as husband and wife. I wish you and your family nothing but happiness!
