Last week our little family of three flew back to the Chicago land area to introduce our 3 month old girl to many, many family and friends.
An old high school friend caught wind of this and asked if I could grab some shots of them.
Why yes. Yes I can.
A beautiful family and a chance to catch up with some old friends. What’s not to like?
Side note. If you want to be a photographer, do not move to Phoenix, Arizona. Don’t get me wrong it is beautiful but it can be tricky to find great locations to shoot. And the constant sunshine adds to the trickyness. For this shoot, we just found an open grassy area with big beautiful trees. Which is all kinds of perfect. And the lighting? Nice and cloudy. Again, also pretty perfect.
I went to youth group with Steve and Erin.

They are sweet couple who recently brought Caleb into this world, just over a month ago.
This little dude was so calm and patient with a camera in his face, he made it easy peasy to take photos.
Even though Caleb is only a month old, you can tell he has a gentle soul.
