With years of experience, Tasha always goes the extra mile to make sure dreams come true on the wedding day. She is as fun and extroverted as she is hard working. How did Meant2Be Events get started?
Regina Osgood-Young started the company over a decade ago. She use to work for a DJ/Entertainment company out here handling client meetings, details and more. She started to have a lot of clients asking for referrals and then asking if they could just pay her to set it up. She was like hey this is a thing. So she let the DJ company know that she would work with them another year but after that was going to venture into becoming a wedding planner. And that is how it all began. I actually knew Regina back then as I was at a wedding venue and there is where our friendship began.
What is included when a client books your service?
Depends on the package but we offer Month of Planning services to Full Planning services. So we assist in finding the perfect venue and vendors for each specific client. The overall design involving colors, textures, florals, rentals stationary and more. RSVP management, Creating Timelines for both vendors and clients, Welcome Bag assembly, Correspondence, in person meetings and unlimited communication and so much more.
How do you help clients customize their service?
We can add or enhance certain packages to help make a package the best for their needs.
How far out should a client pay a retainer to secure your services?
Most couples will book us about a year out for their planning. Some will book mid way through their planning. But of course we also get those that realize they need help and are just around the corner from their wedding day.
What’s one interesting fact about Meant2Be Events?
We love to help bring out the clients love story or something personal somewhere into the design making their wedding unique. That no one else could walk in and have that wedding.
What do you have planned for the future?
Weddings! And building the M2B team so we can create and plan even more weddings and events.
