The Proposal

It’s not often that I get to photograph a wedding for a couple whose proposal went viral. Dack popped the question to Lexi via a sign held up by his cousin on ESPN’s College Game Day. The couple are big Nebraska Cornhusker fans so they had everyone over to watch the big game. Imagine Lexi’s surprise at seeing the proposal sign on tv. I love that they included the sign in their big day.

The Venue

The couple got married at the beautiful Mountain Shadows Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. The amazing mountain vistas make the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. The wedding planner who helped make their special day run smoothly was Jessica with Shine Events. She did a fabulous job.

Details

Some of my favorite details include the beautiful flowers by Mint Green Designs and the red nods to the Cornhuskers, including the groom’s Cornhusker socks.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was elegant. The bride was stunning and the groom was handsome. The wedding colors were the classic combination of black, white, and gold.

The Reception

The reception was so much fun. There were heartwarming toasts and dancing the night away.
