Another great aspect of Christmas decor is that your venue may already be decorated for the holidays which means it saves you the trouble of planning your own floral design. Even if your staging area isn’t decorated, the areas leading to it may be such as the entryway and the lobby. These may be areas that normally would not have such flair.

The Christmas season is also a time where the lushest fashion choices are available. Velvet bridesmaid dresses? Check. A fur stole for the bride? Got it. Green and red argyle socks for the groomsmen? You bet. Not to mention that you can accessorize with snowflakes, rubies, emeralds, and more. Especially if you are looking at long sleeves or wraps, the Christmas season is a perfect choice.

If you live somewhere where the temperature can get pretty high, say Arizona, a winter wonderland wedding can ensure your comfort on your wedding day. No one wants to be sweating on their big day and the nerves you might have are enough. There’s no need to add 100-degree temperatures to the mix.
Family
Another plus of a Christmas time wedding is that school will be out and family from out of town that may not be able to come at other times could be available. Even some businesses have a Christmas break that would allow for easier travel to your wedding.
The Honeymoon
Finally, depending on where you plan to honeymoon, a Christmas season wedding could be the perfect choice for you. If you plan to go somewhere that is known for its seasonal decor and events, such as Disneyland, this is the prime time for a honeymoon. Also, if aren’t a fan of the cooler temperatures, it’s a great time to get away for a beach holiday near the equator.
