I took a little tiny break from weddings this past week to do a session that is a little more quiet and tender than a wedding day but equally intimate and special. I had the privilege of spending time with ten day old Lincoln James and his parents, Julie and Glen. Lincoln had mixed feelings about being the star for the day but those tiny ginormous cheeks made up for some of those tears. It was so great to see how Julie and Glen are falling into the role of mom and dad effortlessly. His nursery was designed so well and I loved all the details they put into it. From a photography perspective, I feel like I hear the photo screaming “black and white!” much more often than any other session I do. I think it somehow captures the intimacy and quiet that is those first few weeks of newborn life. Thank you, Julie and Glen for trusting me. Congratulations on your precious little man!
