The Erickson Family

Phil and Laurel and Case
They are a super adorable family

I rented a lens for a wedding this weekend
(that makes me look like a totally legit photography FYI)
and it was perfect timing since Phil and Laurel needed a super quick mini session before they move to Alaska
That’s right, Alaska.
From Phoenix to Alaska.
One extreme to the other.
Phil got a job as a youth pastor at a church and off they go.
We’re super excited for them and will probably enjoy the cold vicariously through their Facebook updates.

Anyways, we got to walk through a little nature trail and go on an adventure
Case’s adventure, really.
He was determined to get to the park
We stopped every chance we could to get some “deserty” background and hoped that Case would be willing to say to cheese to the camera 🙂

Join us on our adventure?

Which one is your favorite?
I think I have to say the one where Case is on Phil’s shoulders and he is kissing Laurel

I am in LOVE with these photos, these people, the lighting, and this 24-70 lens.
(I will begin accepting donations and more family photo shoots now :))

I still need to figure out how to do the cool photography blog thing where you have two photos but really it’s one image.
Does that even make sense??
And I would try to figure it out today…BUT…
I am about to head to Flagstaff for a wedding!
(YIKES!?!)

Some “Good lucks!” and “You will probably own it” comments are welcomed and well received

Good luck! You WILL own it 😉

    P.S. Those photos look amazing!
